An ICON Agent is an agent with who caps with eXp Realty and then sells another 20 homes within their anniversary year. This agent instantly receives $8,000 of EXPI Stock and can earn another $8,000 in EXPI stock for teaching other agents and attending the Shareholder Meeting and EXPCON Summit!
Can my spouse and I share costs at eXp?
Yes, eXp Realty offers a U.S. Domestic Team that allows married spouses to share one cap! You can learn more here.
I already capped with my current brokerage.
eXp Realty has planned for just about everything. eXp offers a cap deferment program for agents who have already capped with their current brokerage. You can move to eXp now and then eXp will honor your current cap and when your anniversary year resets, you will start over with eXp Realty! How long does it take to get my commission checks?
Our commission checks are automatically deposited into our accounts within 2 hours to 2 days after closing! Each state is a little different regarding the transfer process; that's the reason for the range. You don't need to go pick up your checks anymore!
Do I need to pay a split to join The Platinum Group?
No! There are zero costs to join The Platinum Group. We are a group of elite real estate agents joining forces together because we know that we are all stronger, more successful, and happier when we are collaborating together instead of going at it alone. We are looking for the right agents, Market Leaders, and State Leaders to join our Group and help us have a larger impact.
What if I need an office to go into?

How do I contact my broker and do they respond quickly?
Most of us were concerned about how we would be able to contact our broker and how long it would take to get a response. You can call, email, or text your broker. You can also visit your broker in eXp World where they have daily office hours. In addition, there are assistants and transaction administrators who have daily office hours. We have all found that we receive faster responses from our brokers at eXp compared to KW, RE/MAX, Century 21, and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
Can I bring my brokerage or team to eXp?
Yes, brokerages and team leaders are joining eXp Realty every week. In 2021, a brokerage with over 470 real estate agents decided to move their entire brokerage to eXp because of the stock, residual income, and collaboration with other top agents!
What different Team Structures are offered at eXp?
eXp offers four different team types and even allows you to use a hybrid model to build the compensation and splits that make sense for your team. The four types are Domestic Team, Self-Organized Team, Standard Team, and Mega Icon Team. You can read all about the team structures by clicking here.
Do I have to charge a certain percentage to list homes?
eXp allows us to run our own businesses. You can list as many homes as you want for listing commissions of only $565 and you can list three personal properties per year for only $315 each.

Hi, I’m George Kolar
My goal in life is to positively impact the lives of others around me. This gives me more joy and passion than just about anything else (other than spending time with my family!).
I started selling new construction homes for Pulte Homes and Del Webb in 2005 in a community called Sun City Huntley in Illinois. This was my first taste of real estate and selling homes in a 55+ Community and Ioved it! After working in Sun City for 5 years, I sold new homes for D.R. Horton in a 55+ Community called Carillon Club in Naperville, IL.
From 2013 to 2021, I traveled all over the country interviewing, training, and coaching real estate agents on how to convert internet leads to sales for 55places.com. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life, but when I learned about eXp Realty I knew this was the future of real estate, so I resigned to build The Platinum Group at eXp Realty!
